To all the HRnet family, friends, customers and candidates,
Here we are at the start of our third year in operation! It has been a challenging, rewarding and steep learning experience and we would like to share our news and success with you.
2011 was a great year for HRnet – we completed over 70 recruitment campaigns with a fill rate of 97%. We have built a strong client base and have enjoyed a significantly higher rate of repeat business – importantly for the candidate, every one of our campaigns are exclusive (that is, neither the client or other recruiters are working to fill the position). It’s a far better candidate experience knowing they will only need to apply for a position once, via our business, to be given the best chance to be considered.
We’ve built our social and professional following substantially – HRnet has over 3,500 Twitter followers, 330 Facebook friends and over 1,400 first level LinkedIn connections to ensure our customer’s jobs are promoted to a highly relevant and passive job seeking network. (And the network works, you’re reading this after all!)
It is one of the tightest candidate markets we’ve seen in years. High quality and well skilled talent is in absolute demand and the tougher the candidate market, the more effective our offering becomes.
HRnet has worked with some great organisations across a range of industries over the past year. We’ve worked with Breast Screen Victoria, Deakin, Radio Rentals, Hilti, Melbourne Theatre Company, Computers Now, Val Morgan, Australian Pacific Touring, Synergetic and Niche Media amongst others.
Our placements include Web Developers, Trainers, Sales & Account Managers, Bar staff, Retail professionals, Reservations staff, Managing Directors, Financial professionals, propeller assemblers and even an Artistic Director!
It’s been really pleasing to see our recruitment model gain traction in the ultra – competitive recruitment landscape. We don’t claim to be experts in particular fields – but we are experts in using every medium at our disposal, coupled with one of the largest social and professional networks available, to find our customers the very best person, right now.
So what’s planned for 2012? Our aim is pretty high – we want to increase by an additional 50% in terms of revenue. We’d love to spend more time in the ‘not for profit’ sector, promote our business offering across more industries and ensure we maintain a ‘fill’ rate of at least 97%. And we want to double our network (army) of followers to help people to find their dream job, and our customers find their next superstar.
Our feet are firmly planted on the ground – we are forever thankful for the support of our friends, family, customers and candidates. We are committed to challenging the recruitment industry by providing a well priced and well executed recruitment alternative and so far so good!
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT,
Stuart & Natalie
